Punjab and Haryana High Court (High Court Punjab and Haryana) invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates for Stenographer on permanent basis.
Online registration will consist of two steps. Interested candidates, who fulfilling eligibility criteria they can apply online from 20-03-2017 to 18-04-2017. Registration Step I for registration and Cash Deposit Receipt‟ for deposit of fee in the designated bank (State Bank of India).
Registration Step II : After completion of Registration Step 1, candidates fill the remaining particulars and uploading of photograph/signature, qualification and fee payment details. While filling online, candidates must have scanned copies of passport size photograph & signature. Applicants must have valid E-mail ID and mobile number.

Selection Process :
Selection will be based on Shorthand Test. Candidates will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively. Candidates, who qualify the said English Shorthand Test and its Transcription, will be called for Punjabi Shorthand Test and its Transcription, which they will have to qualify at the speed of 35 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively and Computer Proficiency Test (word processing and spreadsheets).
Final merit which will be based only upon the performance in the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription.

How to Apply :
Applicants who satisfy eligibility conditions may apply online in two steps from 20-03-2017 to 18-04-2017. Before proceeding to Step-I, applicants must have Email ID mobile number.
Candidates must make sure to meet the required eligibility criteria before filling online. After successful completion of Step-I, applicants must fill all required details and upload the scanned copy passport size photograph and signature in step-II.
After successful completion of online form , candidates must take a print out of the duly filled online form for their record and future reference.
