Staff Selection Commission cancels MTS Exam 2017  

After confirming that questions papers for Muti Tasking Staff (MTS) 2017 non-technical examination were compromised, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the MTS Exam 2017 of afternoon shift which was held on April 30, 2017.
 

SSC said that the afternoon paper of MTS Exam 2017 was found to be compromised, therefore the commission has cancelled the exam. 


The re-exam date has not yet been notified.  “The re-examination for only those candidates who appeared in this shift will be held in due course and the candidates would be suitably informed accordingly. The inconvenience caused to the candidates is regretted,” said SSC in a statement.  

SSC MTS Exam are being held in two shifts – morning and evening due to large number of applications. On April 30, 2017, before commencement of morning shift exams, the question paper with key was found circulating on social media.

MTS examinations are conducted to select junior staff in central government departments. Candidates who have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognised
Board are eligible for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (Non Technical). According to reports, more than 70 lakh candidates have registered registration for SSC MTS Examination 2017.
