Ravi Shastri appointed as India coach and Zaheer Khan bowling coach


Former India allrounder and captain Ravi Shastri, who was team director of the Indian men's cricket team from August 2014 to April 2016, has been appointed as head coach for a two-year period until the end of the 2019 ICC World Cup. Former fast bowling spearhead Zaheer Khan was appointed the bowling coach and former batting great and captain Rahul Dravid was named batting consultant for specific overseas tours.

Update- Supreme Court appoints former Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) Vinod Rai to head BCCI



The Supreme Court of India on Monday appointed former CAG Vinod Rai to head Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with noted historian Ramachandra Guha, former Indian cricketer Diana Edulji and IDFC official Vikram Limaye.

MS Dhoni quits as captain of ODI and T20 teams



MS Dhoni stepped down as the captain of India's limited-overs sides but he will be available for the selection for the upcoming England ODI and T20I series starting January 15, tweeted BCCI.
