Puzzle Questions for IPPB, RBI Assistant Mains, NIACL, IDBI Executive


1. There are eight friends 3 girls and 5 boys Peeyush, Ritika, Vikash, Mohit, Rupa, Vinay, Roshni and Sachin. All have qualifies different government examination. The examinations are RRB, CWE Clerk, RBI Grade B officer, CWE PO, RBI Asst. SSC, United India and LIC. After qualifying the exam all of them posted to different cities. The cities are Bhopal, Gandhi Nagar, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna and Ludhiana. Vikas cleared CWE PO and given posting in Delhi. No girls have been posted to Gurgaon and Bhopal. Vinay cleared SSC exam. Sachin has posted to Ludhiana. Ritika has cleared CWE Clerk exam. Vinay has been posted to Lucknow. Mohit has been posted to Gurgaon. Peeyush has cleared RRB exam. Rupa has been posted Patna. The girl, who has cleared RBI Asst. exam, has not been posted to Gandhi Nagar or Patna. No girls has cleared LIC exam. Mohit has not cleared United or LIC exam. The one who cleared LIC exam posted in Ludhiana.


2. Six Lecturers Tina, Titish, Amit, Aabhir, Amol and Yatharth take guest lecture in IIS, ATA, ICB, Arya, Idea and Sharp coaching classes not in necessarily same order. They take lectures on the subjects like Paining, History, Dancing, Singing, Guitar and Drawing not necessarily in the same order. They delivers lectures on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday not necessarily in same order.
1.Tina takes guest lecture in IIS coaching institute. She is expert either in Painting or Drawing.
2.On Wednesday only Titish takes the class and He is not expert in singing and Painting.
3.The lecturer who is expert in Guitar takes guest lecture on Thursday and neither teaches in ATA nor in Sharp.
4.Aabhir teaches Dancing and takes guest lecture in Arya coaching institute except on Monday and Tuesday.
5.Amit delivers a guest lecture at ICB coaching class and takes lecture one day before Aabhir. He is not expert in drawing.
6.Yatharth teaches in Sharp coaching class and takes lecture on second day of the week.
7.The lecturer who delivers lecture on Friday is not expert in Singing, Drawing and painting.

3. There are nine persons Anil , Balaji, Chaitu, Dinesh, Eswar, Feriq, Ganesh, Hari and Ishant stay on a nine floors building, but not necessarily in the same order. Only one person stays on each floor. All of them have either Bike or Car of different colours i.e. yellow, golden, red, orange, purple, black, white, silver and grey, but not necessarily in the same order. Only five of them have Car . The ground floor is numbered 1 and the topmost floor is numbered 9. There are two floors between the floors on which the persons having a black Bike and silver Car stay. Chaitu owns a red Bike. Feriq does not own a grey Bike. Anil stays on even numbered floor below the even numbered floor on which Hari stays. The one who own a purple Car stays on the fourth floor. Dinesh stays on the second floor and owns the orange Car. The one who owns the golden Car stays on the topmost floor. Anil does not own a white Car. Feriq owns a black Bike and stays on an odd-numbered floor. There is only one floor between the floors on which Ferriq and Ganesh stay. Eswar stays immediate above the floor on which Ishant stay. Ganesh does not stay on the ground floor. Balaji stays immediate above the floor on which Hari stay. There are three floors between the floors on which Chaitu and Feriq stay. The one who owns the silver car stays immediate above Ganesh .Eswar stays on the fourth floor. The one who owns the grey Bike stays on the third floor.


4. Eight persons – H, I, J, K, L, M, N and O – are standing in a straight line at equidistant. Some of them are facing north while others are facing south. M is standing third to the right to H. M is standing at one of the extreme ends. L is standing third to the left of H. The immediate neighbours of J face north. N is not an immediate neighbour of H. The persons standing at the extreme ends face the same direction (both are facing either North or South). The immediate neighbours of H face just opposite direction as that of M. The immediate neighbours of O face opposite direction with respect to each other.One of the immediate neighbour of L is K who is facing north. I is standing between J and M. Not more than four persons are facing north.
